Ghalib ke sheher mein ab sher rote hain! Gali Qasim jaan mein ab bhi hulchul hai lekin unke haweli mein ek virana hai. Haan par wahan ek booth hai. Ek telephone booth jise hamari ala sarkar bhi wahan se hata nahi payi. Ghalib ki haweli dekhne aane walon ko ye tat ka paibandh chubhta hai ya nahi malum nahi par mujhe chubha. Ajeeb sa laga.

Kuch dino pehle mera London jana hua tha. Wahan se hum Stratford-upon-Avon gaye jahan angrezon ke Ghalib — William Shakespeare raha karte the!

Hui muddat ke Ghalib mar gaya par ab bhi yad aata hai...

The day ends quite smoothly. Not at all the horror I had anticipated. Good thing some one said that all's well that ends well. And it ended early too. What a relief! Tomorow's my off by the way. So looking forward to some inaction at home. Wishful thinking. Lot of things to do tomorrow. Although I know I'll end up doing nothing. Inaction was not an inappropriate word to use!
Hey! Looks like I'm off to a false start. The posting time of my first blog tells me that I got my landing time in blogosphere wrong. Nevermind what time. Isn't it enough that I have finally started blogging after reading others' blogs for ages? There are so many things you think you would do but end up pushing it till you finally come to the day when you really put your thinking into action. And here I am...
Whew! Landed in blogosphere at exactly 6.30 pm on July 18. The journey begins on a jobless day in office. A day I was dreading to begin with. But it's been boring till now. Let's see what's in store as the evening wears on...
